Sao Domingos: It's Already Christmas
Highlights from this week cause I do not have a lot of time:
- Our refrigerator was not working in the kitchen so we had to move it to the living room, or what is actually now our bedroom.
- Had divisions with the Sister Training Leaders. They are so nice, but we had to return early because of some protesting they wanted us all to stay inside for the whole day. Quite fun while it lasted, but also really hilly.
- We did a service project for our friends making dolls. They came to church on Sunday too but we are not sure how interested they are. But, they are the sweetest couple and they sell us churros so we love them.
- Our friend who is progressing the fastest found out we don't drink coffee and he is a big coffee fan so this has become a concern for him.
- Some of our students from our English class went to the temple visitor center with the Elders close to them. So fun to see them learning more, and the excitement they have
Life never goes the way that we think it will, but it always will go the way it's supposed to. Life is hard, but if it wasn't, we wouldn't grow. We have to trust that God has put us in the places where we will best be tried and tested and where we will best grow.
