Jandira: Everyday is an Adventure!

 This week was an adventure! Everyday with these girls is a blast!

We had our district council these week and it was cool to meet the other members of our district and our district leader gave a training about really praying with the intention of acting on the prompting we receive. One thing I have learned here on my mission is the power of prayer, and the importance of praying with real intent.

Outras Highlights da Semana:

- We ate at a place that gives lunch for 1 real (20 cents) and it was a really good lunch!!

- Walked to the top of a really tall hill but it was worth it for the view. There we saw a boy riding a horse bareback down the middle of the street. 

- Went to the temple visitor center with a friend and there we encountered the youth from our ward, some Sister friends from the MTC and a couple from my ward in São Domingos. 

I am learning lots of things here in Jandira, especially with these Sisters. We have been teaching the mission lessons to the members during lunch to give our trainees a chance to practice and the spirit is always so strong. It's only been 2 weeks but I already feel so much love for the members.

Estou terminado de ler o Livro de Mórmon e realmente este Livro é a palavra de Deus. Cada vez que eu lê eu sinto o Espírito tão forte confirmando que estás coisas são verdadeiras. Eu amo o Livro de Mórmon, este mapa e guia que temos em nossas vidas hoje. Eu sei que Joseph Smith foi um profeta de Deus, e que temos um profeta vivo hoje.

I love being a missionary. Of course it had its challenges but in every moment we can trust that the Lord has a plan for us and the challenges in our life are the to help us grow.
