CTM: Diga Menos

Today we went to the Campinas Temple again. It is such a big blessing to get to go, especially to be there with all the missionaries. We had to get up early though cause it is an hour away and on the ride there Sister Brookes and I snapped a picture with the Elders of our district were passed out. We thought it was funny.

Big news for this week is we are leaving the CTM in 8 days!!!!! We were supposed to leave the 30th but for whatever reason we are leaving the 26th now! At first my reaction was one of sadness and fear. I have loved my time here and was already sad and nervous about leaving and then to find out we are leaving early! A little overwhelming. But in that moment, I could feel the spirit with me telling me that I can do this. I could respond to this change with faith instead of fear, and I do feel in my heart that I am ready and this is what God wants for me. It was a small thing but I realized that our reactions to small things can have a big effect, and even small trials can be a chance to grow your faith.

Other things:

- Diga menos means say less, and the Elders say it all the time. It is a slang thing in the US that they are trying to start here.

- Some of our really close Brazilian friends left this week was sad but they promised to visit me at BYU after the mission.

- My companion and I made bracelets for our missions

- On the way home from the Temple we stopped at the casino. We stayed on the bus I think the driver just needed food.

- We taught this one lady a practice FHE lesson and it went really well!
