Sao Domingos: Luz do Mundo

This week I had the best surprise ever! My teacher from the MTC, Irmã Bueno, came to visit our ward. It was exactly what I was needing this week and I can not express how much love I have for her and for the time I spent in the MTC. It was sad to have to say goodbye again but it was a blessing to have the opportunity to reflect on where I started, and how far I have come during this time. Also remembering why I am here on the mission, and the desire that I have to serve! It was also cool to see some other MTC friends when we went to the visitor center this Saturday with our friend Paulo!

We have had a lot of time to reflect on the Savior's birth this past week with our ward Christmas dinner and our stake Christmas music activity. I especially loved a message that one of our ward leaders shared. He talked about really thinking about the gift of the Atonement and what it means in our life that we have the chance to repent. He talked about the feeling that we have when we argue with someone that we love, and what a relief it is when we apologize and can repair that relationship. It is because of the Savior that we can receive this relief, that we do not have to stay stuck with that feeling. I am so grateful for my Savior and am excited to continue to celebrate his birth and coming to the Earth!

Other highlights:
- English Class
- Pizza night with our friend Ariston
- Finding the São Domingos sign after a long trip back from District Council!
- District Council with the best district 💪

Love you all, have the best week! Até mais!!
