Arvore Grande: Shake Your Fist at the Ocean
Last p-day, my Mom reminded me of a story from when I was younger. We had gone to the beach and I had fallen down in the water and basically been washed up on the shore by the waves. Even though I had gotten scratched up and had sand in my eyes and hair, I got up and shook my fist at the ocean and I got back in!
Missionary work is the most important thing happening right now on the earth. Because it is so important we face a lot of opposition. But we can never let that get us down.
This week was one of those weeks where we felt like everything that could go wrong did go wrong. But, my companion and I decided to get up and shake our fist at the ocean. And then, head right back in. I am determined to not let anything discourage me because I know that this is the Lord's work here on earth.
Even if I lack the words to share it at times, I can feel my testimony growing within me. I know that my Savior lives. I know that He loves me. The Book of Mormon is true. There are miracles happening in our lives when we look for them. God hears and answers our prayers.

Fun things from this week:
- District Council of District Piedade, a mais forte
- Our Bishop shared his testimony of how he met the church. As a youth he read in the Bible and had the desire to find the church Christ established. He visited lots of different churches but when he entered the church of Jesus Christ he felt something different and knew it was that church!
- The youth in our ward are incredible. We have been challenging them to share the gospel and they have accepted! One of them even had a friend at church yesterday. A few of the youth got up and shared their testimonies about their experiences!!
