Arvore Grande: Wow, this lasgna is really good!!
Yesterday we ate lunch with one of the amazing families in our ward. They have a 7 year old named Pedro who is incredibly adorable and loves to talk. He spent the whole lunch saying random things and asking lots of questions. At one moment during the lunch he goes "wow, this lasagna is really good." And everyone starts to laugh because we were in fact eating chicken parmesan, not lasagna.
Afterwards we talked with the about the plan of salvation, and even those both the kids are less than 10 years old, the had an incredible understanding of this plan the God has for us. The father of the family was recently baptized and so soon their family will get to enter the temple to be sealed. As the Mom shared about what this meant for her, as it has been something she has waited a long time for, the spirit flooded the room. And then Pedro says "when we talk about God, I always cry." We identified for him that he was feeling the spirit. It was such a sweet moment, and I could see that God's plan really is here to bless our families.
During church on Sunday we sat in on both the young women's classes. In one of the classes they gave everyone a match. And we all had the time that the match was burning to think about what we would like to change in our lives. Life truly is short and we can not wait until the end to make those changes.
We got to do a blitz with the Sisters of Votorantim and I got to stay with Sister Eiband. She is incredibly wise and it was great to get to know her better.
This week again has some disappointments, but they are never greater than the miracles that we are seeing
The Lord will put us in the right place at the right time to meet the people who are prepared to heat the gospel. As we were walking past a man and his sensores of the sons starts to talk to us saying that he had already seen us passing by his house. We were able to talk with them and plan a time to visit. Small miracles like this happen everyday.
We have a family that is incredibly elect but for two Sundays they have been unable to come to church. I know that they have such an incredible potential and for this they are facing a lot of opposition. But I have faith that they will be able to overcome this opposition and I am excited to see their future.
Everyday is a blessing, live it.
