Monte Serrat: Milagrosa
This week was nothing but miracles! I am so grateful for the chance that I have to be here and to witness the Lord's hand in my life and the lives of those I am teaching.
We started out the week with a great District Council. Upon arriving in our area we get a message from our Elders quorum president. He told us that our friend Camilia said she is ready to get baptized. That was a huge miracle because the Sisters have been teaching her for a long time. She finally feels like she is ready. Pray for her that everything will go well for her baptism this Saturday!
Then the Sister training leaders came to visit and do divisions with us. Their visit involved running in the rain, preparing and eating an amazing Thanksgiving Dinner and seeing some amazing miracles!
I got to spend the day with Sister Owens, she is like a sister to me. We saw an amazing miracle. We knocked on the door of a woman who had been a media reference in the past but the other sisters had never been able to get in contact with her. But she let us in and we taught her a message. The spirit was so strong and when we invited her to go to church, she said she would go! And then on Sunday she came and she loved it.
This Sunday was the primary program and the spirit was super strong. We had some friends come and I know that they were able to feel the spirit. And I was filled with gratitude and joy for the opportunity that I have to be here. It is an honor to be part of this work! God is a God of miracles, we just need to act with faith and have eyes to see them!
